biblical stories map out the foundation 

of our existence

the origin of consciousness implied in tales

though we’ve seen others fail

we must try anyway

the frequency of duality is a rejection of what is

in exchange for what might be for a “me”

that doesn’t exist

that’s the creation of ghosts

malnourished minds 

malnourish souls

everything is the only right price

for anything priceless

drift into states that welcome health in abundance

what is felt to be an illusion

always leaves us unsure of everything else

faith opens us up to envision 

what our imagination couldn’t make up

feel but don’t disintegrate

love but don’t fall apart

it’s the things we deny ourselves

that mark the end of us

you may see pareidolia

but to see purpose

you will have to draw one yourself
